Embarrassing Admission #235

Driving to work this morning the radio announcer was talking about the death of Ray Bradbury.

Announcer: Bradbury was most well known for Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles.

Me: *in a really snooty know-it-all tone* pff - umm, hello - he was probably best known for a little thing called Star Trek?!

Gabe: That was Gene Roddenberry.

Me: oh... Right.

Gabe: Close though. They both had "bury" in the name. And now are both dead...so very close.

*Cellphone Rings*

Me: Hello?

Voice on the Phone: "Hi - this is St. Cloud State University, we're revoking all of your English Lit. credits. Just thought you should know. Dumb ass."

Today I am adding Fahrenheit 451 to my "to-read" list on Goodreads. I will forego adding the Star Trek series to Netflix.

More of a blond than redhead moment. I totally hear your voice in my head saying "Ohhhh" as well. Which by the way is fantastic
