Previously I mentioned all the ghost stops.
But now let's get to the important stuff. The food!
1. St. Louis - Pappy's Smoke House
2. Nashville - Hog Heaven BBQ
3. Atlanta - The Vortex
Gabe wants to eat one of their burgers that uses grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns. I just like their
menu - it's funny.
4. Hallendale - Cucina de Hissy (seriously this lady is the best cook I know - I am driving 1700 miles for her stuffing.)
5. Savannah - The Lady and Sons (my husband's celebrity crush is Paula Deen - there is no way we are going to be in Savannah and not stop here.)
6. Holly Hill - Sweatman's BBQ (not going to lie, I am most excited for this place. It's only open Friday and Saturday, and we happen to be driving through on Saturday. They claim they are 100 mile bbq - something you are willing to drive 100 miles for -- we're going a lot further than that - and I can't wait!)
7. Indianapolis - Edwards Drive-In
They make their own rootbeer...umm, yes please!
8. Chicago -Smoque
One final BBQ stop, which apparently pays tribute to all the different BBQ styles.
